RGI Energy is an Energy Consulting group focusing on reducing Commercial Industrial customers' Energy Costs. We focus on Natural Gas through our strong working relationship with Pacific Summit Energy and Sierra Southwest Energy Cooperative. For the past seven years RGI Energy has had an Agency Relationship with many of the Natural Gas suppliers to California businesses. We have worked with Hospitals, Food Processors, Cotton Gins, Soil Remediation Groups, and other non-core High use Natural Gas Customers helping them to fix their price for price certainty as well as offering Index pricing and Gas Daily pricing. Our goal is to reduce risk and lower utility bills.
On the power side RGI Energy has worked with all of the major Utilities in California helping customers to reduce the Electricity Spend for Commercial Industrial Customers . Working on the Supply and Demand Side of the meter RGI Energy has a unique approach to each customers needs. The ultimate goal is to reduce the monthly spend without any operational risk to the customer. RGI Energy has been successful in reducing many of our customers spend by 12% to 15% and in these challenging times that has resulted in some very happy customers.
RGI is also heavily involved in developing Advanced Energy Storage Systems. The systems are designed to provide Frequency Regulation and Ancillary services to the California Independent System Operator (CAISO). When attached to Commercial Industrial "hosts" the systems also provide Emergency Backup Generation, Power Quality Conditioning and Power Factor Correction reducing Total Harmonic Distortion and controlling Voltage Regulation to the plant.
Todd began his career as a Registered Representative for EF Hutton achieving a Series 7, Series 3 and commodity traders licenses registered with the SEC. After briefs stints in the construction, publishing and sporting goods businesses he found the Energy Field where he could put it all together. His experience working with several energy consulting firms led to an established reputation for diligence and dogged pursuit of savings for his clients.
As an Energy Consultant he has been involved in Natural Gas Contract Origination, managing, nominating, scheduling and balancing Natural Gas Procurement for Small Businesses through Fortune 500 multiple locations. Landfill Renewable Natural Gas to Digester based Renewable Natural Gas to Advanced Energy Storage Flow Batteries are all projects that RGI has been involved in as opportunities present themselves. He was involved in the Department of Energy Offshore Wind Grant application for the Port of Los Angeles as well.
An avid waterman he spends his free time underwater, riding the water or harvesting from the ocean.
